Before You Begin: What You Need
Setting up AltusTV takes about five minutes. Before starting, make sure you have three things ready: an active subscription, a compatible device with internet access, and one of the recommended IPTV apps installed. Your activation email contains everything else: the M3U playlist URL, the Xtream Codes server address, your username, and your password. Keep that email accessible on the device you are setting up, since copying long URLs by hand is the most common source of errors. If you cannot find your activation email, check your spam folder or contact our 24/7 support team with your order ID.
Stable internet
At least 10 Mbps for HD, 20 Mbps for Full HD, and 50 Mbps for 4K. A wired Ethernet connection gives the smoothest results on TVs and boxes.
A compatible app
TiviMate or IPTV Smarters on Android and Fire Stick, Smart IPTV or Flix IPTV on Samsung and LG TVs, GSE Smart IPTV on iOS, and Kodi with the PVR IPTV Simple Client on computers.
Your credentials
Server URL, username, and password from your activation email. Usernames and passwords are case-sensitive, so paste them instead of typing whenever possible.
Troubleshooting Tips
Cannot connect to server?
Verify your internet connection is stable. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data. Check that your credentials are entered correctly, including uppercase/lowercase letters.
Buffering or freezing?
Lower the stream quality in your IPTV app settings. Close other applications using bandwidth. Try using a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi. Restart your router and device.
Channels not loading?
Refresh your channel list in the app settings. Check if other channels work (may be a temporary server issue). Contact support if the problem persists with specific channels.
Playlist URL rejected by the app?
Copy the full M3U URL from your activation email without adding spaces or line breaks. Some apps require the URL to start with http:// or https:// exactly as provided. If your app supports Xtream Codes API, use the server URL, username, and password instead, which avoids long URLs entirely.
EPG guide showing no program data?
Enable the EPG source in your IPTV app settings and set the update interval to every 24 hours. After saving, force a manual EPG refresh and wait a few minutes for the guide to populate. If only some channels lack data, that is normal for smaller regional stations.
App crashes on Fire Stick or Android?
Clear the app cache from your device settings, then restart the device. Make sure the IPTV app is updated to its latest version. On Fire Stick, keep at least 1 GB of free storage so the app can buffer smoothly. If crashes continue, reinstall the app and re-enter your credentials.
Wrong time zone in the TV guide?
Open your IPTV app settings and set the EPG time shift to match your local time zone offset. Program times are broadcast in a reference zone, so a wrong offset shifts every listing. After correcting it, refresh the guide once for the fix to apply across all channels.
Login works on one device but not another?
This usually means you have reached your plan's simultaneous connection limit: 1 device on the monthly plan, 2 on quarterly, and up to 5 on annual plans. Disconnect the first device fully, wait two minutes, then log in on the second. To watch on more screens at once, upgrade your plan or add an extra connection via support.
Sound out of sync with video?
Pause the stream for five seconds and resume; most apps resynchronize automatically. If the delay persists, open the audio settings in your IPTV app and adjust the audio delay in 50 millisecond steps until lips match voices. Switching the decoder from hardware to software rendering also fixes sync drift on older Android boxes.
Parental controls for kids profiles?
Most recommended apps include built-in parental controls: set a PIN in the app settings and lock adult, movie, or specific categories. On Smart TVs, you can additionally lock the IPTV app itself behind the TV's own child-lock PIN. Account holders are responsible for supervising viewing by minors in their household.
VPN: should you use one?
A VPN is optional but useful if your internet provider throttles streaming traffic in the evening. Connect to a server close to your location to keep latency low, since distant servers add buffering. If streams slow down only when the VPN is on, try a different protocol such as WireGuard, which is faster than OpenVPN on most devices. Free VPNs are not recommended for IPTV because their congested servers cause exactly the buffering you are trying to avoid.
